Hello there!

I'm Sandy, a registered celebrant with the Humanist Society Scotland. I'm a Glaswegian who has lived in Edinburgh for a very long time (tut tut!) and I'm happy to lurk around anywhere from the Central Belt to the Borders, as well as Fife and Dundee — and slightly north of there — for weddings, civil partnerships and renewals of vows. Being a registered celebrant means I conduct legal ceremonies — they even allow me to sign the paperwork.

See me, hear me… So, you might want to see what I look and sound like. Well, by kind permission of a couple of videographers and married couples, I’ve secured some short clips from actual wedding ceremonies (look to the right). I know what you’ll be thinking, that you’ve seen me somewhere before. I get it all the time and if I mention Ryan Gosling, does that make sense?

Relax, keep calm and have fun are the key words I use when talking to couples about their big day.
